Baby Thanks: Much appreciation and many thanks to Robin Hart for hosting the shower in Mt. Pleasant and to Leslie Schneider and Roxanne Cleveland for hosting the shower in Clarkston - both events were a big success! We are now well stocked with baby clothes, supplies and support equipment. Thanks to all who contributed, your gifts are greatly appreciated and a big help to us as we prepare to welcome our child into the world. Special thanks to Carol Buese for the beautiful hand-made Clifford quilt. (picture in baby gallery)
For all those who helped make our wedding special, Thank You!
Planning: The planning was up to Nancy Clifford, with a lot of help and support from Roxanne Cleveland. It was a lot to do in three weeks and they were very fortunate to have so many things fall into place so easily.
Ceremony: Reverend Rony Veska performed the ceremony and was a great source of reassurance and direction. The wonderful organ selections were played by Dr. Jean Randall and the beautiful soprano solos sung by Jennifer Lewis. Also thanks to Roxanne Cleveland, our Wedding Coordinator.
Photography/Videography: Norm and Karen Gilmore did a great job with all the pictures as well as shooting lots of video for our wedding DVD. They had many good ideas and we look forward to seeing the results of their skillful shooting and creative efforts.
Reception: Once again, Mother Clifford took care of the decorating and food shopping/arrangements with much help from Roxanne Cleveland. Many friends from St. Paul's pitched in and did such a wonderful job, that really helped things come together. Bob Cleveland and Mike Otto took care of the drinks. Leslie Schneider made sure everyone signed the guest book. Ann Kern welcomed people at the door. In addition Kay and Jerry Frushour, John and Judy Stone, Carolyn and Dave Phelps and Kyle and Don Platter helped out in numerous ways to help make everything go smoothly. Robin and Mike Otto were a big help Friday night in getting things set up for Saturday.
Transportation: Fred and Ann Kern graciously offered the Caddy for transportation to the reception. Fred took his role as chauffeur quite seriously and gave us a first class ride. Ikey thought he had a ride in a limo!
Special Thanks: To Mom
and Dad Clifford for financial support and offering their home for the reception, to Martha
Hyde for Lisa's beautiful, hand-made veil, to all who attended the ceremony and reception,
for all the cards and gifts we received, and to The Lord above for providing the most absolutely
perfect day, with clear skies, moderate temperatures and the divine effect of the colored sun
streaming through the stained glass windows at the church.
What a glorious day!!!
P.S. - The Cookie Master mystery has been solved - thanks again to Robin & Mike Otto!
